About us

METAZ Týnec a.s. is a traditional Czech foundry that produces steel and aluminum alloy castings.
We have been a partner to our customers since 1931, providing products for a wealth of applications both in industry and elsewhere. The connection of our two foundries under one roof saves logistics costs and, last but not least, facilitates communication.
We work closely with customers in the development of individual parts. Thanks to the experience of our technologists and designers, we can help select the right material and the most efficient production technology, as well as treatment of the shape of the part. This close cooperation will reward you with quality products and favorable prices.

Production of casting tools

The production of casting tools takes place in our own pattern shop and metal pattern shop. This allows us to flexibly respond to your requirements without the need to transport patterns or molds to external companies, saving the time needed for their production, where even one day can be the difference between the success or failure of the entire project. The production of casting tools is ensured by a well coordinated team of employees with experienced hands, conventional and CNC machine tools and the latest Rapid-Prototyping technology in the form of 3D printing.

Assortment of castings produced at steel foundry

The assortment of steel castings ranges from ductile cast iron, through alloy steel, to wear-resistant, heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant steels. The castings are supplied thermally treated. The weight of castings ranges from about 1 kg to 200 kg. Production from iron alloys is certified by: České dráhy, Deutsche Bahn and EN ISO 9001:2015.

Assortment of castings produced at aluminum foundry

We are a leading manufacturer of low-pressure casting technology in the field of aluminum alloy castings. We can also offer gravity castings in metal molds, and gravity castings in sand molds. We also use sand cores made in our own core shop with the HOT-Box, COLD-Box and CT method for casting. The castings are delivered thermally treated according to customer requirements. The aluminum foundry is certified according to EN ISO 9001:2015.
