Steel foundry

The steel foundry at Metaz a.s. in Týnec nad Sázavou offers customers the following grades of steel:

o Carbon steel (mild and medium alloys)
o Abrasion-resistant steel
o Corrosion-resistant steel, high-alloy
o Grey alloys Nirezist 1, 1b, Nirezist 02, ČSN 422305

The size of furnaces, which handle from 100 kg up to 2200 kg of molten metal, enables the casting of a range of products,
which can be both small in size and quantity. The castings are manufactured in sand moulding mixtures, either by machine,
with moulding frames from 500x350 mm up to 800x600 mm, or by hand, which enables the internal dimensions of frames
to be expanded up to 1000x1000 mm.

The foundry is certified according to the standards EN ISO 9002, VDA 6.1 and QS 9000. Part of the service we provide
is the possibility of pattern manufacture - either from wood, plastic or metal. We also manufacture patterns using
centrifugal technology, which have a maximum length of 1000 mm and a maximum diameter of 450 mm.

The range of services provided by the foundry guarantees first class casting with very reasonable delivery dates.
