History of the company
The founder of modern industry in Týnec was the Prague entrepreneur, Ing. František Janeček, who began to operate here in the 1930s. He oversaw the construction of a foundry for aluminium, steel, and non-ferrous metals, and in 1931 the production of cast products in Týnec began. The manufacture of JAWA motorcycles and MINOR cars commenced at a former spinning mill purchased in Brodce. Ing. František Janeček laid the foundations at Týnec for the complete engineering and production of a fleet of motorised road vehicles, cars and motorcycles. This promising development was interrupted by World War II. Production at Janeček’s foundry at Týnec and Brodce was subsequently directed towards the manufacture of armaments.
